I’m lucky enough to be part of a global aviation community. Boneyard Safari is an American website/Facebook Page that promotes and preserves Aviation history.
About a week ago, one of the group posted a video on Facebook. To say my phone wouldn’t shut up is an understatement! The only time I have come relatively close to that previously is when I quit my role at Charlton Athletic FC.
The post in question was also shared on Twitter (below) but it didn’t go as viral on that platform. I’d guess that everyone had seen it already!
Well… I guess this old Lear got to fly one last time. Taken this morning at Opa Locka, FL (OPF), December 22, 2020 by one of our photographers.

So far the Facebook post has been viewed 7.7m times and shared 73k times. All a bit crazy! At least my phone has stopped going mad.
It just goes to show the power of social media and something a little unusual.
I have one request though, can someone set the video to the Magic Roundabout theme?
