A trip to Duxford the end of March 2026 for a fantastic night shoot.
Thanks to all the staff at the IWM Duxford for putting on a great event and the team from the Fighter Collection for making their aircraft available.
Having listened to other members of the aviation photography community, it had been suggested that previous events at Duxford had been underwhelming and poorly organised. It’s fair to say the team had listened to suggestions and taken onboard comments. This was my first nightshoot at the museum and, on the basis of what was offered, will probably not be my last.
The P-40C running was the icing on top of the cake, such a photogenic aircraft. Access was provided to the Fighter Collection hangar with multiple aircraft going through their annual services and restoration.
